The summoned souls of the dead, suffer when they come... and those that do come, are demons rather than souls.
I came across a news item in a paper, concerning occultism and the seizure of free will—inflicted upon a poor young woman by a medium. I don't know if the term I am using—"seizure of free will"—is the right one. What is certain, however... is that the young woman is completely under the sway of the medium, who makes her act and speak like someone who has been dead for two years.
I say to myself: "I will copy this, and send it to Giuseppe, just as I sent him the report on Dora... so that I may receive a comprehensive and effective response, to help me decide”.
As I write this account, my inner monitor tells me: “No. Don't send it to Giuseppe. It is not necessary. It could trigger a return—or a desire to return—to mediumship in a man who has just been healed of it. Speaking of Dora was necessary, because it demonstrated how Satan can mingle with higher Powers. Giuseppe had to recall, compare, and—increasingly—draw the right conclusions. But here, no. It's all Satan. Don't tempt him. Instead, give the paper you are copying to Fr. Migliorini”.
He will need it for his sermons, to show that Purgatory exists—and is a place of suffering—and to refute the theories of those who summon the dead. Do you hear them? They suffer to come here, and those who do come—summoned forth—are souls not yet free from earthly forces... that is, still weighed down by guilt. On this point, I ought to say... that it is demons who come, rather than souls... but then again, the blessed Word has already spoken to you of this. Let not the subject add words. to the words of his King”.
And he falls silent. The good companion falls silent—he who is so ready to guide me, so that I don't make any missteps. Blessed be God!

Le anime evocate dei defunti, soffrono a venire... e, quelle che vengono, più che anime sono demoni.
Trovo in un giornale un fatto di cronaca, che riguarda l’occultismo e il sequestro della libertà d’arbitrio, commesso su una povera giovane... da parte di una medium. Non so, se il termine che uso... di sequestro di libertà d’arbitrio, sia giusto. Certo è... che la giovane è succube alle volontà della medium, che la fa agire con voce e atti di uno morto da 2 anni.
Dico a me stessa: “Lo copio e lo mando a Giuseppe, come gli ho mandato la relazione su Dora... avendone la risposta esauriente e efficiente a decidere”.
Mentre sto scrivendo il fatto, il mio interno ammonitore mi dice: “No. Non la mandi a Giuseppe. Non è necessario. Potrebbe creare ritorni o desideri di ritorni, alla medianità nell’uomo appena guarito da essa. Parlare di Dora era necessario, perché era dimostrazione di come può Satana mescolarsi alle Potenze superiori. Giuseppe ha dovuto ricordare, confrontare e sempre più concludere, nella via giusta. Ma qui no. È tutto Satana. Non lo tentare. Da’ piuttosto il foglio che copi, a P. Migliorini.
Gli servirà per le prediche, per mostrare che il Purgatorio c’è... ed è sofferenza; e per controbattere le teorie di coloro che evocano i defunti. Lo senti? Soffrono a venire, e quelli che vengono, per evocazione... sono anime non ancora libere da forze terrene; ...ossia ancora aggravate di colpe. Su ciò dovrei dire che, più che anime... i demoni vengono. Ma già, ti parlò il benedetto Verbo su ciò. Non aggiunga il suddito, parole alle parole del suo Re”.
E tace. Tace il buon compagno, così pronto a guidare... perché io non faccia passi falsi. Dio ne sia benedetto!
