For the unity that is lacking among peoples, let there at least be unity among Christians, because the anti-Christian era is imminent.
And now I should tell you something... otherwise I'll become obsessed with it. For fifteen days, perhaps more... the dear Voice has been prodding me in the heart like this: “Remember your separated brothers. Remember that for them too, you are a victim. Remember that they were supported by your friend Gabriella de la Trappe. Remember that the obstacle of war, has ceased.
Remember that souls must be helped, not only through prayer. Remember that I am the Christ of all... and that all Christians belong to Christ. Remember that your mission goes far beyond blood and affection. You are the bearer of the Voice, and the Voice went to all. You cannot deny it. Remember that I am loved—you yourself have sensed it—with more reverence in the other confessions... than by you. There is but one step, to take to enter into one Fold under one Shepherd. And it takes a hand that reaches out, across the stream that divides... to help them come. The thirst for Me is very much alive there...”.
But what can I do? Lose what sleep I have left, because of this constant warning that never ceases in my thoughts. Lose my peace of mind, because I don't know what to do, because I'm opposed to doing, because I feel I'm displeasing Jesus by not doing. I don't know any separated brothers, except by name, those of Nashville Abbey. And how can I do it? And what do I say? I don't speak English.
And why does Jesus want things from me, that are so far beyond my abilities and inclinations? Help me, because, you know, when He wants, He wants... and He doesn't rest until He's satisfied.
Jesus says: "For the unity that is lacking among peoples, let there be at least some unity among Christians... because the anti-Christian era is imminent... and what was predicted must be fulfilled”.
All right... But how?... In the meantime, I give everything I suffer, keeping a little bit of it for other reasons. But it seems that it is not enough, and I cannot add further suffering to that of evil.

Per l’unione che manca fra i popoli ci sia almeno una unione fra i cristiani, perché le epoche anticristiane sono imminenti.
E ora dovrei dirle una cosa... perché altrimenti me ne viene una fissazione. È un 15 giorni, forse più... che la cara Voce mi pungola nel cuore così: “Ricordati i fratelli separati. Ricordati che anche per essi, sei vittima. Ricordati, che essi erano sostenuti dalla tua amica Gabriella della Trappa. Ricordati che l’ostacolo della guerra, è cessato.
Ricordati che le anime vanno aiutate, non solo con la preghiera. Ricordati che Io sono il Cristo di tutti, e che tutti i cristiani sono del Cristo. Ricordati che la missione tua, va molto al di là del sangue e degli affetti. Sei la portatrice della Voce, e la Voce andava a tutti. Non la puoi negare. Ricordati che sono amato – tu stessa l’hai intuito – con più riverenza nelle altre confessioni... che da voi. Non c’è che un passo da fare, per entrare a fare un solo Ovile sotto un unico pastore. E ci vuole una mano che si tenda, al di là del ruscello che divide... per aiutarli a venire. La sete di Me è ben viva là…”.
Ma io che posso fare? Perderci il sonno che mi resta, per questo trivello di ammonizione che non tace mai nel mio pensiero. Perderci la tranquillità, perché non so come fare, perché sono contraria a fare, perché sento che dispiaccio a Gesù col non fare. Di fratelli separati io non conosco, che di nome, quelli della Nashdom Abbey. E come faccio? E che dico? Io non so l’inglese.
E perché Gesù vuole da me, cose così superiori alle mie capacità e alle mie tendenze? Mi aiuti, perché, sa?, quando Lui vuole, vuole... e non si cheta finché non lo si accontenta.
Gesù dice: “Per l’unione che manca fra i popoli, ci sia almeno una unione fra i cristiani... perché le epoche anticristiane sono imminenti... e ci vuole che il predetto si compia”.
E va bene… Ma come?… Io intanto do tutto quello che soffro, serbandone un pizzichino per altri motivi. Ma pare che non basti, e io non posso aggiungere altre sofferenze a quelle proprie del male.
