Valtorta – Notebooks - October 23, 1944:
This
is the Voice of the Master. It roars and Caresses.
A command received insistently
at dawn... and repeated over and over again, so I wouldn't forget it; waiting
to be able to write it down, which I do as soon as I see it.
Jesus says:
"Write... and what I have told you,
will be placed at the head of every work, to be given to the good, whether printed or typed, as I have already said: 'This is the Voice of the Master. It roars and caresses. It roars when it addresses those
who refuse to convert. It caresses when it speaks to those who, though imperfect, have the
'good will' to find God and His Word and, having found them, to sanctify themselves. For
these, it becomes the caress of a Friend and the blessing of
Jesus”.
These words, at the beginning of every work. Then, for the most complete
and approved works—always approved,
so that they are not nullified… by the ill will of the Pharisees, Sadducees,
scribes, and doctors—it would be appreciated if you would include the prayer to the Word, that I dictated to
you on December 7, 1943.
That's enough for now. Then, I will come again”.

1944:
Questa è la Voce del Maestro. Rugge e
Carezza.
Comando ricevuto con insistenza all’alba… e ripetuto
più e più volte, perché non lo dimenticassi; in attesa di poterlo scrivere,
cosa che faccio appena ci vedo.
Dice Gesù: “Scrivi…
e quanto Ti detto sarà messo in
testa ad ogni lavoro, da dare ai buoni,
sia che sia stampato o dattilografato, secondo che già ho detto: “Questa è la Voce del Maestro. Rugge e carezza. Rugge,
quando si rivolge a coloro che non si
vogliono convertire. Carezza,
quando parla a coloro che, pur essendo
imperfetti, hanno la ‘buona volontà’
di trovare Iddio e la Sua Parola e, trovatili, di santificarsi. A questi, diviene carezza di Amico e benedizione di Gesù”.
Queste parole, in testa ad ogni lavoro. Poi, per le
opere più complete e approvate – sempre approvate, perché non siano rese nulle…
dal malvolere dei farisei, sadducei, scribi e dottori – sarebbe gradito
metteste la preghiera alla Parola che Ti ho dettata il 7 dicembre 1943.
Per ora basta. Poi verrò ancora”.
